Election day!

The long awaited day had arrived where we got to vote for our learning leaders. It was very exciting. Well done to everyone who put themselves forward unfortunately not everyone could be voted in. A big well done to our winners.

Mars Facts Homework Project...

How did he do it...? One clearly very talented pupil in Owls class presented this awesome piece of homework to us and we were suitably impressed enough to share it here.

Message from our PCSO...

My name is PCSO Sheffield and I am part of the Bitterne Park Neighbourhood Team. Each month we will be providing crime prevention advice and updates on issues within your local area.

We’ve had a recent increase of bicycle thefts from sheds and garages within the area. Here is some advice that you can do in order to reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim yourself:
·         Mark items with your house number and postcode using a UV pen.
·         Check that side gates are kept locked to prevent access to rear of your property.
·         Use a decent ‘D’ lock and secure it to a solid anchor point
·         Install lighting that can be triggered by movement sensors to act as a deterrent.
·         Do not assume that your home insurance covers the contents of your shed or garage. Bicycles may need to be insured separately.

Register your valuable property for free on www.immobilise.com. Immobilise helps the Police to identify the owners of lost or stolen items.
Report suspicious activity to the Police on 101
