During our recent Book Week, we were delighted to welcome many of our governors into school to see what we have been up to. The governors were able to talk to the children to find out about the impact of our "Power of Reading" Project in school. Several of them were brave enough to join us in our fancy dress book character costumes! Thanks to them all for giving up their time.
As a Governor I felt that the recent Governor Day was a great opportunity for the children to meet us all and talk to us, in between following their lessons! The Power of Reading Project appeared a great success as the kids were interested and excited to tell us what they had been doing. Hopefully, we can have another Governor Day and the children will feel even more relaxed about talking to us. What do you think? From Amanda Whatley, Parent Governor
