Kingfisher class have been down into the woods with Minibeasts!

Kingfisher class have had a fantastic week back and they have been enjoying their Minibeast topic. 

They started the week with a minibeast hunt, looking for different kinds of insects. They made a tally chart to keep a count of the minibeasts they found. We then created a pictogram to show the information. 

Even in PE they moved around the apparatus like minibeasts, crawling like caterpillars, buzzing around like bees and wriggling along the floor like worms.

 This afternoon we made spider webs by threading wool through holes on paper plates.

We are looking forward to continuing our topic next week with more Minibeast activities, including using our new role play area.
