Nature Trails
Year 4 have been working on writing nature trails all week and Year 1 were invited to follow them. The trails included questions and activities, like making bark rubbings or turning over logs to hunt for woodlouse. Each Year 4 pupil paired up with a Year 1. The Year 1s obviously loved doing the trails because they kept swapping partners to follow another trail! At the end Year 1 thanked us and even drew us a picture. We enjoyed the morning as much as they did. Thanks for coming.

Easter Egg Hunt!
All the children had a chance to take part in an Easter Egg hunt this afternoon and then went home with an Easter treat! The children had lots of fun and were using 'tactics' to beat the other class!
Our next topic
Year 5 are really looking forward to our next topic 'Healthy Living' . We will be focusing on 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' in English, and going swimming towards the end of the half term! We wish everyone a great Easter break. Year 5.

A talent with a very bright future at Bitterne Manor
Year 6 has a new found talent in their midst. The sport of snooker had better watch out as a year 6 boy is winning trophies and matches against children older and with more training. Obviously a natural talent has emerged.
