It's time for a Cup Cake Party!

To end this half term in style! Swallows celebrated all their had work and effort throughout the past 6 weeks with cake and biscuits! The have all worked incredibly hard and I am so proud of each and every one of them! An afternoon of treats before the holidays was well deserved! Have a FANTASTIC Easter break!

Swallows have a TREMENDOUS Titanic experience!

To bring out fantastic topic of Ahoy There to an exciting end, last week Swallows boarded the Titanic for a first class experience! They picked out tickets from a hat to discover what class they would be entering into aboard the Titanic! The tables were set and ready for the passengers to arrive! Swallows loved being waited on, served  a variety of food and drinks and experiencing what it would like to aboard the Titanic! When the music started to play they were quick to get up and DANCE! It was a fantastic afternoon and children had a wonderful time!...It created some fantastic pieces of writing the following day, writing in role as a passenger!

EASTER RAFFLE!

Well done to those of you who WON something from the EASTER RAFFLE! The prizes looked AMAZING! Thank you for all of your amazing support in this, our PTA are very grateful and appreciate all the tickets that were bought!

Swift's 'dough-nu-terrific' treat!

SUPER Swifts have been awesome this term, so much so that they definitely deserved a special treat! They all worked hard as a class to earn their fuzzy balls and filled their bucket to the brim! Throughout this term they have been respectful, safe and massively resilient in regards to all the learning that they have achieved in class but with the SATs prep given for homework too.

Thank you so much for your amazing support Swift parents, you have been so supportive! We are massively grateful and appreciate all that you have done. Have a fab Easter and see you all soon :)

Iron Men

This week we have been building our own Iron Man using  a range of different cardboard boxes. We had to work as a team to attach all of the different parts and add some details. It was challenging at first but we all really enjoyed the experience.

EXTREME READING WINNERS!!

SUPER Swifts board the Titanic!

Well...today my Swifties decided to board the RMS Titanic! Each child picked a ticket (first class, second class or third class) this was pot luck so they were very excited to see who they'd be taking the role on as.  Once picked, they made their way to the hall which had been transformed into the dining deck of the Titanic. The three zones were separated into first, second and third class, it was all very exciting! Each passenger got a taste of what life was like for the role they picked. What a fantastic opportunity it was! Children will write about their experience  tomorrow... can't wait to see what they write! Take a peek at the fun from earlier...
