After a wet, windy and extremely muddy couple of days it is safe to say that Year 4 had an amazing time at Fairthorne Manor!
With many amazing team building, fun and scary activities it is save to say the children did everyone so proud!
Enjoy a few pictures to explain the washing that needed to be done over the weekend....

Be a rainbow in someone else's cloud!
Today at Bitterne Manor we put our creativity to good use to spread some positivity and hopefully put a smile on peoples faces!
We worked together to create our own rainbow using a range of different materials, the children were incredibly enthusiastic about the idea and all worked incredibly hard to get this done this morning. We even added multicoloured raindrops with positive messages hidden on the back!
This work of art is now proudly hung in our notice board at the front of the school for everyone to see! Keep smiling :)

Super Home Learning from Year 6!
Well done Kestrels! It's great to see and hear from you about your home learning.
A big shout out to Ella, who has been starting her day with PE #PEwithJOE and has produced some AMAZING artwork. Also to Roxy who has created her own school environment at home, come up with her own timetable and amongst other things has written a letter to a neighbour who lives alone. What a fabulous thing to do!
Keep up the good work Kestrels and keep your emails coming to kestrels@bitternemanor.net
Some Super Home Learning
Thank you to this Kinfisher and his family for emailing in the super home learning he's been doing (please email kingfishers@bitternemanor.net).
I love that you are still doing our Wake and Shake. I can't wait to see your dance moves when we are back at school. And what a super marble run you built. I hope you enjoyed your Bug Club book. Keep up your amazing work!

Nighttime Fears Study - University of Southampton
We have been approached by the University of Southampton to support some research into why some children experience challenges sleeping. We think this is a very worthwhile and relevant study and hope that some of you may agree to take part. Please see below - we'll send further details out shortly.
