SUPER Swifts get...

CREATIVE! Learning at home isn't just about Maths and English.  You can explore the whole curriculum and be as imaginative as you like. These SUPER Swifts have done just that! They've been taking part in lots of Science experiments, in particular, one involving a volcano and preventing an egg from cracking from height! I hope that poor egg survived. As well as this, they've been learning about the wonders around the World! Yesterday, they had a French day where they created the famous Eiffel Tower using things around the house... tres bon!

They've even been helping each other out when recapping Maths strategies learnt in class. How fab!

Keep up the amazing learning and super effort Swifts :)

Jays get learning and growing!

Some fantastic updates from two joyful Jays today! As if home learning wasn't enough LN has also been growing her own vegetables! It is so fantastic to see what our team has been getting up to!

Here are some examples of LN and FG AMAZING home learning! Keep it up team!

Super teacher in the making!

In a time like this it's really important to keep positive and help each other out. One SUPER Swift who loves helping others in class has taken on this responsibility at home by teaching his baby brother! Just through play he taught his brother how to count. How lovely!

This Swift even put his Art skills to use by drawing our School logo. He's missing School a lot and I thought this was a lovely way to keep School in mind :)

Please keep sharing - it's wonderful to see what you are all up to :)

Home Learning is...

FUN! Especially for this SUPER Swift! He has been working hard on his Maths, Reading and Writing skills. It's so lovely to receive lots of pictures and emails to tell me all about what you have been up to. Please keep up the amazing attitude :)

This SUPER Swift loves his reading on BUGCLUB - how fab!

As well as his writing :)

Kindness Diary!

This sensational Skylark has been busy writing their own kindness diary! It is lovely to read about their daily acts of kindness. Making people happy and smile is such a lovely thing to do!

More fabulous work from kestrels...

Lots more emails coming in from keen kestrels, sharing their wonderful home learning with us!  As much as we are missing seeing you all in class, it is fabulous to see what super learning you are getting up to at home.
Whether it's work we set before we closed, activities off the website or activities you have set yourself, we are super impressed by your positive attitudes and mindset.
Keep it up kestrels and keep sending the emails - they make us smile!

A kind kestrel...

I received a really lovely email this morning, which put a huge smile on my face!  One of our  kind and thoughtful kestrels decided she wanted to find a way to think of others during this difficult time.  She and her family have set themselves a challenge to put a coin a day in a special jar (which she decorated herself) every day that we are in lock down and away from school.  When school reopens they are going to donate the money they have raised to charity.  What a fabulous thing to do!
