Keep Smiling!

Finally, after much internal persuasion (and pressure), here is our contribution to the pantheon of school videos out there at the moment! Thanks to Miss Wyatt, Miss Blightman and Mrs White for their efforts in putting it together and to Fischy Music for permission to use their song which the children sing so well themselves. Hope it makes you smile and "May the 4th Be With You!"

Rook's impressive home learning!

One of our fabulous Rooks has been busy with a variety of tasks.  Maths, English, Spelling, Art, the list goes on.  She has taken it all in her stride!  Check out this amazing poster!

Well done and keep up the great work :-)

CREATIVE Swift SOARS...

As the week comes to an end one of my Swifts sent in a very creative task that's put a smile on my face. It's a marble run made entirely out of Lego. It's incredible!

Take a look...

There are lots of daily tasks linked to our curriculum that have been posted on all the class pages to help keep some structure and routine to help you and your child. Lot's of you have been following these daily or dipping in and out of them among doing other tasks which is great. We are here to help and support in any way that we can so please do keep sharing!

It's important to remember however that during this strange period of time we must remain positive and take care of our mental health. So doing fun tasks like this is a wonderful way to do just that. Teach, learn and explore in any way that best suits you and your child. As long as you're safe, well and happy, that's all that really matters :)

Something else to make you all smile... adorable I know!

Thank you so much for sharing - a wonderful way to end the week :)

A full rainbow of challenges

Here is another Kingfisher who has enjoyed completing all of his rainbow challenges this week and has earned his Rainbow Challenge Certificate. What a fantastic week of home learning he has had!

Blue challenge- Ice fun, freezing water and experimenting with it.

Green challenge- Fitness, we certainly do miss our smiling Kingfishers!

Orange challenge- Writing about what they can see in a farm picture.

Purple challenge- can you make a kite? This Kingfisher has made a rainbow kite.

Red challenge- Maths, he has had a go at the Super Duper Whooper challenge! Very tricky!

Yellow challenge- Rhyming scavenger hunt.

As you can see from the pictures, this Kingfisher definitely earned his certificate.

Super home learning

I continue to be blown away by all the hard work that is going on.  Here is an example of Maths, English and Art that I have been sent by some of our Rooks :-)

Musical Talent

This amazing Rook has taken the time to learn new skills such as playing the piano.  Fantastic!

I know how much effort and dedication that goes into practicing.  Keep up the great work!
