Half Term Fun!

These Kingfishers have had a very busy half term!

This Kingfisher took part in 'Virtual Reef Camp 2020'.  This was an online scout camp where they slept in tents, took part in activties and cooked dinner and toasted marshmallows on a campfire.  What a fab thing to do!  I love your tent!

Another Kingfisher took part in a variety of themed days such as a Beach Day, Messy play, Cooking Day and Sports Day.  What lovely ideas.  Looks like you had a great time.

Skylarks are BACK!

It is the start of a new week after a hot and sunny half term and Skylarks are back and ready to learn!

We have started our new topic... GREEN FINGERS! The pictures have been flying in of all the wonderful work they have already produced! I have been BEAMING with pride! :)

We have all started a class reading challenge! SUMMER READING BINGO! Already I have had pictures of Skylarks enjoying their reading and collecting their bingo points!

Keep smiling!

Kingfishers are back!

It has been truly heart warming to welcome some of our Kingfishers back into our classroom today.  They have come back full of smiles and have adjusted to the new routines well.  We are so proud of them.

We have shared things we have done while we have been at home and enjoyed being together again.  We have also talked about how to keep safe while at school.

Re:Minds support group for families

Re:Minds is a parent-led support group for families who have children/young people with autism or mental health issues and is based in Southampton. It was founded with mutual support in mind, their aim is to allow people whose children face similar issues to meet up in an informal setting to share knowledge and talk about any challenges their families are facing. They don’t claim to be experts, just other families who understand what it can feel like to be on the autism/mental health journey.
