Helping our oceans and sea creatures

Kingfishers received an email from the Octonauts showing us some pictures of the oceans and beaches around the world.  They said it looked like something wasn't quite right and they needed our help.

Kingfishers were quick to spot the pollution. We discussed what pollution is and how it ends up in our oceans. We then thought about how we could help.  The class talked about and took part in some recycling activities.

The children watched 'A Whales Tale', a short animated clip showing what pollution does to our sea life and how a whale and little girl worked to clear it up.
