Our Kingfishers have been working hard at home and school. One of their home challenges was to think about how we stay safe when we are near water.
This Kingfisher really thought about this and made a poster to show her ideas. She loved doing this.
She has drawn the red and yellow flags that signal if it is safe to swim in the sea. There is a lifeguard next to these, watching the people. Our Kingfisher also thought it is a good idea for there to be life rings near any kind of water. Her poster shows that you should only swim when an adult is with you or watching, and that you shouldn't swim if there are big waves as this is dangerous. Very good thinking! This Kingfisher feels that inflatables are fun, but adults should be near when they are used. Her final box on her poster is to make people aware of jellyfish. I wouldn't like to be stung by one, that's for sure!
Well done to our Kingfisher! What super ideas.
